About Anna
Hi! I’m Anna, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Raised in the Chicago suburbs and based in Baltimore, I offer virtual individual and couples psychotherapy to clients across Maryland and Illinois.
I’m a believer that the quality of our relationships plays a significant role in our overall well-being. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I’m trained to work with individuals and couples with a focus on understanding the relational patterns that shape our experiences.
Clients describe me as warm, curious, and active in sessions. I tailor my approach to each client, drawing from Family Systems Theory, the Gottman Method, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. During our time together, we may explore past experiences to better understand the present, using those insights to make meaningful changes in the here-and-now.
Prior to opening my own practice, I worked in higher-level treatment programs with those experiencing severe anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and chronic pain & illness. I earned my bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Sociology from Saint Louis University and my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern University in 2019.
Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, perfecting my swing in volleyball league, diving into a good book, and cuddling up with my cat Rajah.
